Rhythm-Based Music Therapy facilitates accomplishment of therapeutic goals through active engagement in music interventions that center around rhythm and drumming.
Do clients need to be musicians to benefit?
Prior musical training is not needed to benefit from RBMT. RBMT is often selected for individuals who have little or no formal musical experience. Sessions provide opportunities for skill building as well as self-expression through improvisation.
